The Subway Summit on Cognition and Educational Research is an annual conference that provides opportunities for graduate student to present their research. Students from several universities in the New York metropolitan area, including CUNY, New York University (NYU), Columbia, Fordham, The New School and Rutgers, come together to present and discuss their current research. Due to the breadth of the topic, participants and presenters may include students from multiple programs and disciplines of The Graduate Center, CUNY, including several different training areas within Psychology, Educational Psychology and Urban Education.

Summit goals include: (1) to provide students with a local conference to share their research and gain experience with no registration fee; (2) to support collaboration among graduate students and faculty to build a comprehensive network of researchers committed to educational research; (3) to provide graduate students with up-to-date knowledge, skills, and resources to conduct cutting-edge educational research.
